Well, my 3 weeks of family joy are up. Our new son Tiebe is everything I hoped for and more.
Cute, strong and healthy just like his brother.
Now Im about to board my plane for Namibia once more feeling sad and happy at the same time,
a very unusual feeling , I’m quite accustomed to…. 2 months till reunion.
Luckily I’m off to a “flying” start. Tomorrow 5 hours of flying, enough to fill a day, and after that 5 days of flying with 5 overnights. Got a haircut for the 39° days and my ‘new’ (secondhand) David Clarck headset with Active Noise Reduction. That should extend my stamina to endure the long days behind a 110 dB IO-550 engine in front of me….
